The reason waxed cotton works so well as a water resistant barrier is that its hollow fibres are able to be filled up with, and hold onto, wax, rendering the fibres watertight. However, what sets British Millerain’s TekWax® cotton apart is its ultra-dry finish. This gives your ThruDark garment all the functional performance of a classic waxed piece without the dampened feel of traditional waxed cotton. 

The HeriTech Grange Jacket itself features a funnel neck, shaped to sit higher at the back for additional weather protection. The collar itself is lined with a soft touch Clarino™ microfibre suede for maximum comfort on cold days. A centre front placket conceals a YKK Vislon 2-way zip with Hypalon zip pull, the placket can be snap fastened shut for further protection from wind and rain. Storage capacity is provided by two chest pockets and lower pleated bellow pockets engineered to stay open as required with an internal snap fastening for easy access. A large “poacher” style pocket on the rear of the jacket bolsters capacity for storing hats, gloves and more. The HeriTech Grange Jacket can be cinched tight with an internal drawcord and underarm eyelets provide ventilation. Inside, the jacket is lined with quilted, recycled 60gsm Primaloft® Rise for enhanced insulation.
